Question: Urgent Help Needed ASAP, What can I do!?
I just got a notice saying that there will be a mandatory meeting tomorrow at nine p!.m!. where they will brainstorm ideas for a halloween party!. This is for my college dorms and if I don't go then they can fine me fifty dollars!. The problem is that this goes against my personal and religious beliefs!. The catholic church states "Those who celebrate Halloween are worshipping a culture of death that is the product of a mix of pagan customs," what can I do!?
I am not planning on going no matter what, but I don't want to pay the fine, wouldn't that be religious discrimination!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The Catholic Church does not say that!. Some evangelical Protestants, yes, but not Catholics!. In fact, the word Halloween comes from All Hallows Eve, meaning the day before All Saints' Day, which is still celebrated as a solemnity in the Catholic calendar!.

Things are what you make of them!. My kids love Halloween because it means they are going to get tons of candy from the neighbors and then they get to pick thru their baskets to see what they got!.
Fanaticism in anything is dangerous, ask yourself, what do YOU believe and what is being forced on you by others!. Make your decision and go with it!. If they try to fine you, appeal it to the college authorities!.
