Joe, easy on the stroking thing! I truly urge you to drink more water!. My ex had had that but he was getting ready for marathons so he had that pain after he peed every single time, so the doctor told him he was dehydrated!.

If you have any family history of kidney stones you just might be passing one!. They can be smaller then a pin head but feel like you're trying to pass a basketball!. Ask mom and dad about that history!. You can pass those before you feel anything in the kidney although that's generally where all the pain is!. If you're sexually active be sure to use a condom!. other then that it's hard to say without more medical history!.

You could have a high level of acidity in your urine!. How much water do you drink a day!? And do you eat a lot of acidic foods!?
Your pee should be a very pale yellow, tending to almost clear!. Then you are drinking enough!. If it's dark yellow or orange, then you aren't drinking enough and you could have acidic pee, which will hurt when you pass urine!.
Try drinking more water / fruit juices / squash (cordial)!. If that doesn't help after a week or so, then you could have an infection, so go see a doctor!.
