I guess its just an old excuse as u said, I've heard one time that if u didnt do it for a very long time its not good for the body but they didnt mention that it makes any pain or something like that!.

Well i do believe its true!. I have had it happen to me once when i was a teen and it did hurt really bad, felt like someone squeezed them really hard!.
