Question: How Effective are Condoms!?
Me and my girlfriend have recently started having sex!. We have been dating for a year now and are bout 19!. She is not on birth control, but I always use a condom and even with a condom on, rarely ejaculate inside!. The typical condom brand is Trojan!. I was wondering what the chances of the condom ripping are, what the changes of getting pregnant while using a condom, and any other types of anti-contraceptive methods besides birth control!. condoms are usually 99% effective at doing what they should do!. ripping isn't a problem unless the lubricant wears off!. other methods you can use are spermicides, diaphragms, and there are loads of other birth control methods asides from just a pill!. have your girlfriend talk to her gynecologist about it especially since you two are getting sexually active!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Since your girlfriend isn't on the pill or anything!. I think the last time I saw, a regular condom with no spermacide is only about 55-80% effective!. The reason it's so low is because people don't use them right, and it depends on what time if the month you do it!.!.!.if your girl is ovulating then there is a higher chance of pregnancy!. I think the percent goes up to 86% when the spermacidal condoms are used!.
For the best results using a condom, use the spermacidal kind and see if there is any kind of spermacide for the girl!.!.!.I think there are kinds of foams that must be applied up to 5 minutes before intercourse!. It sucks and it dampens the mood, but it's better than having a kid!. With both a condom and a spermacide for the girl, I think it gets closer to 90% effective!. i noticed that one person said to use two of them, but i woulnt do that cuz my health teacher said that the two condoms would rub against each other and cause a tear in both due to friction!. use only one!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
do not listen to the guy who said use 2 condoms!.!.!.!. this is not going to decrease the chances of gettin pregnant, infact this will increase the chances of both condoms breaking!Www@Answer-Health@Com
