The circumcision rate in Australia varies from State to State and has dropped over the last couple of decades from at least 40% to around 10% but a report released recently showed that pediatricians were receiving requests from parents to circumcise up to 20 per cent of newborn boys!.

There is also an increasing trend for young men in their late teens and early 20s to be seeking circumcision!.

This, together with the growing body of reliable research evidence concerning the protective effect of circumcision relative to STIs almost certainly means that a much higher percentage of boys will be getting circumcised within the next few years!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I live Aus too was uncut similar to you At one school I went to we were all uncut in our year plenty were cut the year above and below just not our year and the school i went for yr 11 and 12 I was 1 of the only ones uncut I always kept quiet about being uncut as all my close friends were cut and showed everyone that they were and very proud and vocal about the circumcision status I ended up getting circumcised a few weeks ago And I would have to say it was the best thing I ve ever done It feels great sex is fantastic its so much cleaner my wife just loves my cut d ick I had it done in day surgery with no pain afterwards no bandages was back wanking in 5 days and sex in 7 days I would recommend it if you feel uncomfortable it was certainly boost for my confidence I have found that circumcision is becoming very popular again with newborn circumcision and adult circumcisions on the rise at my doctors office they get calls everytime I'm there for circ's and my GP refers alot of young adult men for circ's they missed out on when a child most doctors In qld dont question circumcision they seem happy to help you with it

I think that the male genital mutilation (circumcision) rate has fallen to about 10% these days!.

It's dropping in the US, down from 80% a few years ago to about 50% today and continuing to fall as more people finally learn what most of the rest of the world knew all along; a whole, natural and normal penis with a foreskin feels and functions better than a partial, mutilated and scarred one!.

80% of the men in the world are unmutilated, and enjoy having a whole penis!.

A foreskin is not a birth defect; it is a birthright!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think it really matters what country you are from!. Your parents make that choice when you are born!. I have 3 boys and I chose to have them circumcised because of the risk of infection!. (Doctor's advice)

There is no need to be embarrassed!

It's your body for crying out loud, you don't need to have some of it cut off to be normal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You're the lucky one!. That is one sick practice!. Think about it: chopping off the tip of a baby's foreskin for no good reason (other than fashionista mother's vanity) only to give him more infections and when he's older get calluses!.

I see that weird USA culture has spread like a virus to Australia!. So sad!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Most people in the US are, actually 80% are i don't know much about Australia though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I doubt there are any statistics one way or the other!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
