I was circumcised as a baby and am very pleased that my parents made this good decision for me!. Had I not been circumcised I would have wanted to get it done in my teens!. I have no son, but had I one he would have been circumcised soon after birth!.

it's funny because most of the cut guys here are giving stupid reasons!. e!.g it would look bad (they only think that because they are used to seeing the circumcised penis every day and don't know what normal ones look like) or it would get an infection or smegma yeah right that only happens if you don't shower for a week nobody I know ever got that

I hate my parents for having me mutilated, but I had more sensitivity loss than the usual 50-75% or so!.
I sincerely hope that your son doesn't have the same problems, most guys don't have as extensive problems as I had from the mutilation!.

Yes I am! I was cut at birth and have always felt mutilated, deprived of all that erogenous tissue (15 square inches) and its unique gliding action for masturbation and sex!. It's a barbaric thing to do to a baby boy and in the US is still done mostly without anesthetic, with the baby strapped down and screaming, as they rip away the naturally fused foreskin from the glans before clamping and/or slicing it off!. I also hate the look of my scared penis with its obvious, exposed knob, especially when I want to feel close to nature, skinny-dipping, etc!. I suffered real psychological damage from my deep resentment about this, requiring extensive psychological counseling and rapid eye movement treatment for deep-seated trauma!. I would have rather been given a choice about my body!. Whether or not it is mutilation isn't the point!.!.!. it is the fact that he no longer has a choice about what he wants to do for his body!.!.!. circumcision is permanent!. Medical reasons should really be the only reason to take this choice away!.!.!. but all that exists is conflicting studies and many misconceptions about being intact, many of which stem from improper care of the foreskin not the foreskin itself!.
If I had a legitimate reason to be circed, I wouldn't care as much, but the main reason I was done was conformity!. My dad felt out of place growing up because he was intact!. The rates were a lot higher when he was born, near 85%!.!.!. so I can understand how he might have felt, but that doesn't make it ok!. Many of my friends in school were actually intact (though circ was still the majority) so I actually felt more out of place!. Later I found out what exactly the foreskin is, what it is for, AND that I could never experience what was lost!. The typical reasons give for circ such as cleanliness or appearance are retarded!. Cleanliness is mostly from highly exaggerated reasons full of anecdotal experiences of people who were most likely using improper care or were given incorrect advice from doctors !. Appearance is subjective, EVERYONE has a different opinion, guys should get to act on theirs!.!.!. not be forced to stay the way the parents prefer or guessed he would want!.
That one decision made 25 years ago will affect me all my life!. How big of a difference would it make, I can only hypothesize!. But some things I think are hard to doubt!.!.!. mastubation/handjobs/oral would be easier, just move the skin!. Sex would be more pleasurable for both partners, the foreskin's movement is designed to help reduce rawing friction from and keep lubrication where it belongs!. And most importantly, I would prefer to be left natural!.!.!. it just fits with how I want to live!.

My parents died when I was 14 -- but I can honestly say that it is the only thing I ever was mad at them about!. Our relationship was excellent -- but yes, I was circumcised at about 2 (I was grossly premature, so they couldn't do it at birth) I remember the pain afterwards -- and I have felt incomplete my entire life -- not routinely, but when I think about it I do -- and if I allowed myself to, I would still harbor resentment!. I feel as if they robbed me of part of my body for no reason!.

Im not a guy, but I have a couple guy friends who are actually looking into foreskin restoration!. They feel like they've been mutilated! Their missing out on the best part of the penis, and most cut guys will deny that, but they have no idea!. My fiance' is uncut, and so is his brother, and they LOVE it :)

My hubby is not circumcised and thinks it is stupid but there is also a lot of info saying that for health sake you should circumcise!. They say it is easier for someone uncircumcised to get an infection or std due to bacteria build up inside the fold of skin!. Of course someone who washes and takes care of himself he has nothing to worry about!. OK let me just tell you that you have made a wonderful decision and your son will appreciate it!.
