Just trim it unless you want to be scratching yourself down there as it will itch as heck!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
First of all, get a good electric shaver with a guard (very important) and trim the area as short as you can!. Then make sure you use a single or dual-bladed NEW razor and shave the area!.
Use a shaving gel for sensitive skin (I prefer Edge)!.
Also, the shaving goes a lot smoother if you are stimulated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I shave because whenever I take a condom off it pulls on my hairs!.
A couple of weeks ago I had the same problem since I always used a razor blade to shave!. It started to itch afterwards and bumps started to appear!.
So I tried scissors but halfway through I cut myself!. So I came on hear to look for help!. So I found somebody saying to use one of these!. They are pain free!. Rechargeable!. And shave just enough so you don't get bumps and you won't cut yourself and stuff!. I am very satisfied with it and wish I knew about it sooner!. This works in the shower or when you are dry!. But I prefer to use it when it is dry!.

Yes!. I use a shaving gel with baby lotion or aloe and a single edged blade such as Gillette Good News!. Also, make sure and shave "with" the grain of the hair instead of against the grain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
