I am not sure what to do with this?!
Question: I am not sure what to do with this!?
My boyfriend seems to have a bladder infection!. I asked him if he felt like he had one, but he said he felt fine!. However, whenever he pees it smells JUST like when someone has a bladder infection!.
I know what it smells like because we are having toilet problems, where the toilet keeps running so we have to turn the water off and on, so we kinda have to follow the "if its yellow let it mellow, if its brown flush it down" or else our water bill goes up about 100 dollars!. (yes we are getting the toilet fixed, and no I dont like no being able to flush after every use lol!.)
Anyway, so is smells like he has a really bad bladder infection, the smell is so strong that I can smell it on the floor below where the bathroom is!. Can he have a bladder infection without any other symptoms!? He has never had a UTI before!.
I have had a lot of them, but I dont know what its like to have one when you are a guy!.!.!.!.
So should I make him go to the doctor or what!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've been told that Male UTI's can be a tad bit different then a Female UTI!.!.!.!.!.!.but if he says he has no pain, that I'm sure he is ok!.!.!.!.!.unless he doesn't want to admit that he is in pain, some guys are like that sometimes :) he could try taking some cranberry pills and juice, that will really help and clear the UTI somewhat!. As for the smell it doesn't mean that he nesassarily changed his diet, maybe he had a certain food or drink that affected the smell of his urine, sometimes beer can do that, even bread!. Sometimes pasta can also be the culprit!. If the smell doesn't get any better it could be a piping problem with your toilet, if the smell is so strong that you can smell it so far away it might as well just be a loose pipe or something else!. See if the smell gets better or worse over the next few days!.!.!.!.!.!.it could be either his urine or a toilet issue!.

Don't worry about it if he's not in any pain!. It's more rare for a man to get a bladder infection!. This is because the only way he can get one is bacteria from the uterus, or a serious kidney problem where the kidneys back up!. Just make him drink lots and lots of water!. And get a plumber!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Any UTI's I've had usually produce an elevated temp!.
It could be that he is just dehydrated!. When a person is dehydrated, their urine turns yellow or dark and has a noticeable odor!. Also, some foods (asparagus) or drugs also will cause urine to have a strong odor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

has he changed his diet at all!? certain foods or antibiotics can make your urine smell very strong!. In any case drag him to the doctorWww@Answer-Health@Com
