Question: My facial hair is really thick and I cannot use a straight edge razor!?
I'm 22 and I have always had a very dense set of facial hair!. I can only use an electric beard trimmer set on the closest setting to shave!. So I always have a "5 o'clock shadow"!. Which works out pretty well because I've always been told that I look good with a 5 o'clock shadow!. My problem is that I'm sick of always having it!. I want a close shave but a straight edge razor just literally cannot give me a close shave!. It is always like running a razor over the bark on a tree (no joke)!. Any suggestions on how to get a nice close shave!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have the same exact problem!.!.!. it feels like the razor is pulling the hair out rather than cutting it!. I use an electric razor for daily shaving and on occasion when i want a close shave i do use a regular straight razor but follow these tips: use it after an electric if the hair is longer than usual, or in the shower or right after when the hair is softer and wet!. If you want to use a reg razor everyday then you just have to keep on top of it!.!.!.the shorter the better and best when soft and wet!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I use a regular hair trimmer on it first, then use a razor or 2!.
But if I get a photo taken right after shaving it looks like I need a shave, but not when you just look at me!. It just shows up right afterward!. In the afternoon it gets thick again!.
I don't know what could be done about it!.
