For those of you against circumcision?!

Question: For those of you against circumcision!?
If a guy chooses to get it done under his own volition would you still consider it an act of mutilation or that some how a man was throwing away his birth right!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
If the guy himself chooses to get circumcised, for whatever reason, that should be respected!. It's his body and his choice!. Sometimes there is a legitimate medical reason, but there usually isn't!. I'd just like to emphasize that guys should be given the decision in this matter whenever possible, and to make a fully informed decision at that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If someone of age wants to get circumcised, then it's his penis, and he has a right to do so!.

But doctors do not disclose the complications that result from male genital mutilation, called circumcision!.

They don't want to discourage anyone from having it done to themselves or their sons, as they make money from it, and are very frequently members of the religions that try to perpetrate this mutilation on all males!.

I suffered from complications, because most of my sexual sensitivity was destroyed when I was mutilated as a helpless infant!.

Should you wish to have this done to you, it is advisable that you look into the complications beforehand!.

Amputation of the foreskin with it's 70,000 nerve endings, scarring the penis, disrupting the blood supply, and keratinization of the exposed glans all combine to damage sexual sensitivity and decrease the intensity of orgasms---the doctors won't tell you about THAT!

It's not just appearance, and the foreskin is not just "extra skin!." Nature gave all male mammals a foreskin, and it's unnatural and abnormal to amputate it!.

How can anyone possibly think that a penis that's been made partial, scarred and mutilated by circumcision could possibly feel or function as well as one that's whole, natural and normal with a foreskin!?

A foreskin is not a birth defect; it is a birthright!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Any response I add is my opinion and should not be taken as any medical or religious advice, each person should enjoy there own intelligent decision!. I have mine and you have yours, so run with it!.

Furthermore as far as Religion is concerned, I did not see anywhere in the New or Old Testament that specifically mentions cutting off the foreskin of the penis!. Circumcision was mentioned and used in the context of slaves and the heart as well as mankind, but what that meant I would assume is cleansing of the soul!.

But if someone would be kind enough to clarify this I would appreciate it!.

The Bible says that God pronounced creation 'very good' (Genesis 1:31) and that humans were made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27)!. The Apostle Paul also said that God made every part of the body as he wanted it!. (1 Corinthians 12:18)!.

How can anyone dispute this; Does anyone understand this scripture other than me!.

When the bible mentions mankind, the bible is referring to all people not just man, but man and woman, ie: all people!.

What is this about wanting the son to look like daddy, just because daddy is overweight or ugly, does that mean you want your child to look the same way!.
And what about this locker room business, that is so asinine it shows ignorance!.

There are issues among people with some degree of smarts on this subject, and that is!.
1 The foreskin is as natural part of the body as the hand!.
2 The foreskin serves a purpose!.
3 The foreskin is attached to the penis the EXACT same way as a fingernail is to the finger until later years of life when the skin becomes dis attached!.
4 The foreskin is literally RIPPED away from the penis!.
5 The skin is then stretched so tight that it causes pain during erection!.
6 It is not necessary!.
7 The child has no say in the matter!.
8 The parents do not have full understanding of the long term results!.

People please don't continue to become sheep and follow the wrong pathway that is being led by some that are trying to manipulate your life!.

You ask any doctor or doctors and say these words;
(Is it absolutely positively necessary for a sustained quality of life that my male son be circumcised right now at this moment)
And let the doctor give you a one word answer "YES" or "NO"
And if yes then get a 2nd or possibly a 3rd opinion!.

May God himself have mercy on the souls that give in to such wicked ways, I myself will not have to answer to this hideous torture in front of God because I will never allow this to happen to a child of mine, I will not have to explain why I altered God's creation!.

No I consider it his free choice!. It should absolutely be an adult's decision to make for cosmetic reasons or whatever else he chooses!.

I don't think it's the best choice, but it'll affect him, not me so it's none of my business!.

The only time I try and talk adults/teens out of it is if they're doing it specifically because they think it's healthier or they think women prefer it or for peer pressure reasons, in those cases I like to correct the misinformation so they can make an informed decision!.

I am passionately against infant circumcision for a number of reasons!. I am not bothered about people getting it done as adults - it is up to them!. Though I would try to dissuade them because circumcision doesn't have any advantages and a lot of disadvantages!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Provided he has been given information on alternative treatments, and still wishes to pursue it, thats fine by me!. Its his body, his decision to make!. People do a lot of things to their bodies that I'm not fond off (tattoos, gauged ears, odd piercings, plastic surgery etc), but its not my place to tell them what they can and can not do!. -NebWww@Answer-Health@Com

I am only against it being done to babies & children (except the rare case of true medical need)!. I have no problem at all with an adult making that decision for himself (or herself, women do it to) as long as he is informed on the procedure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think that we all have a right to our own choices AND decisions in life!. Sometimes the cosmetic reasons are the most important ones of all!.

Live your life the way you choose, don't let another's point of view influence your own without giving it at least some thought!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't believe in circumcision on babies/children, but if it's the guys /own/ choice then I have no problem with it!. He can do what he wants with his body!.!.!. wouldn't consider it self-mutilation unless he took a kitchen knife to it one day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I personally feel that it is wrong when you're doing it to a baby!. If a male is making his own decision to have the procedure done, why not!? It is HIS body, noone elses!. I have no idea why someone would want to do it, but whatever!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Some people are in to the whole body modification thing!.!.!. some aren't!. To me it's just like getting your leg cut off!. Just do it if you really want to!.

Of course there's also medical reasons for having it done (phimosis etc)Www@Answer-Health@Com

No!. I don't care what other grown-up men do with their penises!. I'm just against routine infant circumcision!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If he really want to, that's his choice!.

But unless its for a medical reason, I don't see the point!. It just make doctors/hospitals makes money out of you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I consider it an act of cosmetic surgery at that point!.!.!. but the risks really outweigh the benefits (which I don't think there are any)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Under your own steam!.!.!. I would say it was his personal choice!. But I might ask why the need to do it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

many parents get their babies circumsized because the father was and they dont want to child to think they aren't normal when they see their fatherWww@Answer-Health@Com
