How much do you bench press and how much do you curl (Include age)?!


Question: How much do you bench press and how much do you curl (Include age)!?
I'm 18 and I usually bench press about 150 for 16 reps and curl about 40 for 12 reps!. IS THIS GOOD!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

That is pretty good!. You should try to max out though!.
I do 5x6 of 75 pound dumbbell curls, then 5x5 of 250 bench press!.
I'm 17, roughly 5'6 and weigh about 150!.
I think you're doing pretty good so far, just keep it up!. What you're doing is more endurance exercises, if you want to do explosive power exercises (gaining more muscle, faster) then you're going to want to do less sets with heavier weights!.

hahaha apprently averyone here is a bodybuilder!.!.!.!. anyhow yeah if u want size keep the rep about 5-7 cause 12 is too much so i suggest either go up weight or lift (both 40 dumbells) at the same time, i am sure you wouldnt passed 7 reps (keep a good form)!. and dude 16 reps is way to much go up weight!.

you should still keep the muscle endurance up though!. just try havier weights aswell

im 16 i bench 255-260 and dont curl much at all!.!. maybe the most is 50!. i've worked on bench so long that i never did curls!. but ive improved on them!.lol!.but ur doin pretty good!.!.cuz u rep out weights!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It depends on your weight!. In general, you should be able to bench press your body weight and curl about half your body weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
