Pediatricians or anybody who can help please answer?!

Question: Pediatricians or anybody who can help please answer!?
I have a puberty related question:

I think i may have "stopped" going through puberty very prematurely because I have had a bit of sort of soft, transparent pubes for like a year (no further development there), and a few armpit hairs on one armpit and basically none on the other armpit, again for about a year, and still no other changes (testes, or penis, or voice)!.

I really would like to have a GOOD answer!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Your stage of development from the onset of puberty is called adolescence, which is a period of physical and emotional growth and development which will last until you're 22 or 23!. Your physical concerns are quite normal for a person your age but you're still growing!.

You probably have friends who appear to be developing at a faster rate than you are (listing the characteristics you have in your question)!. Everyone develops at different rates and you may be a "late bloomer"!. This only means that you will catch up to them later on!.

Also, have you had a growth spurt!? Possibly not yet and you may grow in height as well as developing the other parts of your body!. Noticing in your question, your concerns are quite valid and you should be checked out by a doctor regardless!. You can talk to your doctor privately (without a parent present) about your concerns and he will not laugh at you!.

Your concerns are not only physical but psychological as well!. Don't get depressed or overly concerned at the lack of development in the features you listed!. A bit of advice: feed your body well, exercise, get plenty of sleep, and you'll notice growth!. By the way, you're doing just fine! Www@Answer-Health@Com

You're 13, and in the early stages of puberty!.

Puberty isn't something that happens overnight, and it goes in stages, which sometimes happen steadily, and sometimes in spurts!.

There isn't any specific timetable!. It's a difficult period, as all guys worry about normal growth and development!.

You will probably not reach full development for at least five more years, maybe longer!.

I am not a doctor but I would think you need to go to a doctor!. Have you discussed this with your parents!? If not, tell them of your concern and they can get your examined!. If they don't have a acceptable answer for you, go to your nurse at school and ask his/her advice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Nothing Is Wrong, Some People Develop Certain Features ( Pubic Hair, Voice Change, Bodily Structure Ect!.) Faster Or Slower Than Others!. Its Totally Common And Its Nothing To Be Embarrassed About!. Many People Are Still Going Through Puberty At Age 19!. I Hope This Helped!.

You didn't say how old you were, so it's hard to guide you!. But if you're concerned, see a doctor!. I was a late bloomer like my dad, still with that high pitched voice till 15!. Now I'm 23 and I haven't grown anything worth calling facial hair yet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

How old are you!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
