How to ask and convince mom?!

Question: How to ask and convince mom!?
Hi,

Although I am a 27 years old boy (should say 'man'), the culture I have been brought up in still ties me emotionally to my parents, especially my mother, who has done a lot for me!.

I have always asked her everything I did and there's no secret that I don't share with her, every little thing she is aware of!. She has given me enough freedom in teens, yet the culture and values she taught me never took me to any wrong path ever!.

Now, coming to the problem :)
I like to keep myself clean and have my cleavage clean shaved!. Tried with a razor, but ended up getting rough surface and don't want to damage my chest!. So, I want to use a hair removal cream!. I used Veet once and found that it helps keep the skin smooth!.

Now, I am hesitant to go and tell her that I am (or want to use a HRC [Hair Removal Cream]), because of some problems I discuss below!. Now, the reason I want to "tell" this to her is that if she suddenly finds the cream in my cupboard one fine day, she will cultivate wrong things about me in her mind!. She is understanding, but today itself she said to me that boys should not use a Lip Guard (the usual winter care lip guard), because boys are supposed to be rough and tough, only girls should use a Lip Guard, which I did not agree and quarelled about, because firstly I had seen an advertise in which it was clearly shown that for the chapped lips of a MAN, the lip guard was advertised!. Secondly, I believe that winter does not discriminate between a man and a woman and if lips of a man are chapped, there is no issue in using a product that is meant for chapped lips!. She is okay if I use petroleum gelly, and even I have no issues using it, but basically, I want to eradicate the belief system she carries about me - that I am enticed towards female products!. (By the grace of God, they invented Fair & Lovely for MEN, so I use it openly)

Now, I can definitely wait for her to "find" the HRC in my cupboard one fine day, but then, what reason do I tell her!?

I don't want to fight with her or tell her that she should not interfere in my private body things, because I know she only cares for me, but then I also feel that she should really give me freedom in such things and should not assume or cultivate wrong beliefs about me in her mind!. I am not doing this for any wrong reason and the reason I want to let her know this frankly is because I will be completely free and comfortable in using it and will not have to hide it and do something secretly!. If I tell her, she may not agree and start assuming me wrong!. You know typical moms right!?

Now, my question is that am I right in firstly having this belief that a clean chest is good!? Or is it really not required!? If yes, how should I go and tell her, with what reason!? If not, do you think I should simply stop doing this!? Another best way out would be going for a laser hair removal treatment for around Rs!. 5K and just be out of the hassle or maintaining and hiding the HRC!. But again, am I carrying the right beliefs!? Or do you think hair on a man's body simply do not matter for any reason whatsoever!? Totally confused!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Body hair is a personal thing, everybody prefers something different!. If you don't feel that it's wrong I wouldn't mention it, why make a big deal out of nothing!. You sound very respectful of your mother, I'm sure she knows this and knows that she raised you right!. I wouldn't worry about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No offense but your old enough to make your own descions and if a clean chest is what you want then just tell her and go for it!.

Next time don't type as much info!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

27, you should be a man so be one!. What the heck is she doing coming over to your apartment and searching through your "stuff!?" If you want the 'clean look' on the chest, pubs, legs or where ever then do it!. It is no ones business but yours and perhaps your wife!. But most definitely not your mother!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are in a different culture to mine, so I won't comment about your mother!. However, you do have a very easy problem to solve!. In Sydney, Australia, hair removal creams directed towards men are freely obtainable!. They probably are everywhere else in the country, too!. Look, just ask your pharmacist to order you in a cream with a label for males on it!.

On the other hand, I find hairy chested men highly attractive and can assure you, your problem is only something that you have in your head!. I would not be bothered if I was you, anyway!.

I hope that helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First you are a 27 yr old MAN not boy!.
Body hair is a personal preference!. I do not find it offensive in any way, a person that spends too much time obsessing on the smoothness of their shin may, however as a woman throw up a Red flag to me!.!.!.as I am aware of the reasons!.!.!.I prefer men to be natural!.!.!.!.neatly groomed!. Anything that becomes an obsession is a concern!. Chap-stick worn at night, would be fine!. but if you are wearing it all the time you may want to rethink of all the reasons you are hiding these things!? Waxing at any full service salon will take care of any un wanted hair!.!.for an extended period of time!.!.no need for any Veet! Hope this helps!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
