A question about weightlifting?!

Question: A question about weightlifting!?
Well here it is

Ok last night I was working out and today i didn't get sore at all!.!. No soreness what so ever

So does that mean its ok to do the same workouts tonight!?

I have a feeling this answer is No but I wanted to ask anyways

Another thing!.!.!.

If you don't get sore the next day does that mean you didn't workout enough and therefore you wont grow very much (or as much) muscle!?

haha one more thing!!

How do you know if you are over working your muscles and besides tearing or any kind of serious injury what could this do to your muscle that you wont realize about!?

Answers:
No, you cannot do the same workout again!. Never do the same workout two days in a row!.!. sore or not!.

If you didn't get sore the next day, you may or may not have worked hard enought!. You need to ask yourself, "Did I give it my all yesterday!?" If you did, and you're not sore, then don't worry about it!. If you slacked and you're not sore, well then you'll have to work harder next time!. The only time to really worry is if you're not getting sore and you stop making gains!. Then it may be time to switch up your workout (google "weightlifting and muscle confusion")

A few symptoms of overworked muscles to look out for are weakness and pain (not soreness) in your muscles for longer than usual (this does not apply if you have just switched workouts!.)

Just practice safe weightlifting habits and you will drastically reduce the risk of injury!.

1) Do not work the same muscle group two days in a row
2) Warm up before you begin lifting!. A few "practice reps" in which you perform the lifting movement wih low weight will do!.
3) Stretch afterwards!. This will lengthen the muscles giving you better flexibility, range of motion, quicker recovery times, and greater muscular growth!. Ever see those really big guys who can't reach their hand behind them to scratch their back and who walk around like they're carrying a beach ball in their arms!? Those are the guys who refuse to stretch afterwards!. They look ridiculous and lose function!.
4) Give your body at least 1 full day of rest per week (recommended 2!.) This means no lifting whatsoever!. Remember, rest is when you make your gains!. Not when you're lifting!. Give yourself the best rest you can after a hard workout and your body will repay you!.

Ok, first you should always give you muscles a chance to rest and recuperate!. If you are not sore the next day that means you are getting in condition!. Still you need to rest your muscles!. Now it is time to increase you workout, by either increasing the weight or increasing the reps!. I am not sure how long or how many reps you do during a workout, or how long you have been working out so all this is a factor when it comes to your workout!. I suggest that you alternate your workouts, upper one day, and lowers the next!. Do this throughout the week and you will be fine!. If you are not sore the next day, slowly increase you workout!. BTW you will know if you are over working your muscles!. If you start to get stretch marks, that is a good sign that you are getting to big to fast!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

no soreness probably means you did not lift enough, wether that be sets or weight!. but then again, if you ate plenty of protein and had a good night's rest you wont feel as sore or sore at all, but NO this does not mean you can do the same exercises the day after, give your muscles at least 1 day to heal in between workouts!. knowing if you have over worked you muscles is difficult to determine, and comes down to common sense, if you routine is too demanding for you, then ease up!.

hope this helps! best answer!?!?!Www@Answer-Health@Com

well number one you should try to not work the same muscle's two days in a row!. when you build muscle you are actually tearing the muscle and it mends and thats how ur muscles get bigger, so try to work a different muscle the next day that way to give you muscles that u worked the previous day time to rest!.
second no it doesnt mean that your muscles arent growing, it just means that your body has become more in shape and u wont feel sore once you are in shape
finally if you are having trouble using that muscle then you could potentially have hurt it, if you feel a sharp pain instead of a dull sore pain the you could have hurt it too!. Most injurys that occur during weight lifting you will immediatly know, but it is possible to get some type of bone fracture without knowing it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You won't always be sore, but if you don't feel any kind of sensation (discomfort, 'tension', etc!.) then it's likely you should be using more weight, doing more reps, or additional sets!.

Best way I know of is to always workout to the point of muscle fatigue/exhaustion, where you physically just can't do more!.

Every other day is great for most people, though most men I know who are into body building do workout daily!.!.!.they've done so for years though, so likely someone just starting out wouldn't train daily, even if it were with the intent to build!.

If you're over doing it, you'll know, sore or uncomfortable is normal, but *pain* the next day or within a few hours is a sign you did too much, if the pain is severe or there's swelling or bruising, you should see your doctor, but this doesn't happen too often for most people!.

Beyond that, it's perfectly safe to workout, we're actually designed for lots of strenuous activity =o)Www@Answer-Health@Com
