I have a gut how do I lose it?!


Question: I have a gut how do I lose it!?
I'm not overweight but I have a gut I currently weigh 155 pounds!. I'm 5'6''!. I don't feel insecure about my looks but I just want to be in shape and I want to look good!. I have been doing some ab exercises for about a month but I haven't really gotten any results!.

So are there any other ways to get rid of my gut!?

well to get abs you do need to do ab excercises but thatll build up your abs but u wont be able to see them so you will have to lose all the fat by doing cardio like skipping or jogging to get ur calories burninWww@Answer-Health@Com

Stress is a lead cause of belly fat!. Also eating lean and cutting carbs will reduce your middle!. You don't have to cut carbs completely, just eat more protein than carbs!. Protein feeds the muscles more efficiently than carbs!.

a very good tool for ab work is the ball!. The big one that you can sit on!. The reason it is more efficient is because you are able to go lower back than having to stop at the floor and you get more work that way and you can also define those higher, harder to get to ab muscles!. You can also crunch harder because your bottom can go into the ball giving you a way to go deeper than the floor!.

For some people you can never get completely flat and firm abs, but you can make them look much better!.

My mom taught aerobics so that's why I know these things!. Try them out and you should see results!. My mom once weighed 230 pounds and got down to 145, but she was so muscular and fit that she looked awesome and started teaching aerobics!. She got flatter abs mostly by using the ball!.

Edit:Miguel doesn't know what he is talking about!. Fat does not harden! I agree with everyone that you have to reduce the fat on the abs to be able to see the muscle, but in your description it sounds like you are pretty thin, just want better abs so in that case my advice still stands!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Quit situps for now, it will only harden the fat!. What you need to focus on is loosing the fat then doing your situps!.
The best results is dieting with no fat foods and plenty of cardio, 3-4 times a week of jogging for about 30 minutes and some high reps on light weights!. You will loose that gut in no time, just remember dieting is the most important otherwise all goes to vein!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

By doing "some ab exercises" I assume you mean, you did a crunch here and there and nothing happened!.

Take it seriously, you obviously don't work out and you're too short to gain a lot of weight without muscle and not look fat!. So start working out, run, lift weights, stretch, eat right, take protein!. GO GO GO!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Doing ab excerices will not get rid of your gut it will just build muscle underneath it!. You need to do some cardio and eat healthy!. Its not just about counting calories either you need to be eating things with nutritional value!.!.!.High protein, low fat, complex carbs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you cant expect ab axercise to work unless you do cardio to get rid of the extra first! if it isnt fat you can try a cleanse for your organs that will look better and you will feel better!. maybe you just dont have a lot uf muscle mass in your stomachWww@Answer-Health@Com
