UTI and masturbation?!

Question: UTI and masturbation!?
First off, I'm 15!. Last week on Friday I masturbated at night and everything that day was totally fine!. I woke up on saturday and when I went to use the restroom, I had difficulty!. It was incredibly painful and I discharged blood!. Needless to say, I went to the doctor!. I found out that I had a uti, which I'm over now!. I was told that getting a uti is incredibly uncommon for young males!. Now, I've heard of girls getting utis from masturbation, but I assume that that's because they are putting their hands inside themselves!. A week before this I had the stomach flu!.!.!.I also went on a long road trip and was forced to hold it for a really LONG time!. So is the fact that I masturbated the day before relevant!? Should I worry about this at all!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I wouldn't say so!.

You had to hold in your urine for a long time, which could have meant the urine in your bladder was stale (and more prone to bacteria) and you had the flu, so your immune system was over stretched making it easier the UTI to get you!.

Don't worry about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Nah, the masturbation was probably irrelevant!. Holding it for a long time would do it!.

Just fyi, girls get UTI's more frequently because bacteria from the anal area has a much shorter route to get to the urethra!. Putting their hands inside their vagina wouldn't give them a UTI because the vagina isn't the urethra nor any part of the urinary tract!. Just to clarify!.

But yeah, no need to worry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

uti's are caused from bacteria, your hands or underwear may have been dirty, !. make sure you wash your hands thoroghly before using your body as an amusement park!. just practice good hygiene and you should be fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
