Easy on the weights!. The reality is concentrated weight lifting isn't the most effective way of building muscle or strength initially!. Most strength comes from the subtle support muscles that can only be strengthened by weight-less exercises that work the entire upper body like push-ups and pull-ups!. You don't have to be afraid of free-weights, but try to avoid maxing out, you'll just get stretch marks, and you might even effect your back growth and stunt your height!.

Most people first begin losing excess weight as they burn more calories than build muscle!. At fourteen puberty isn't in full swing necessarily, but in just a year and half you'll be ripping out of your shirts just watch! 110 at 14 is pretty impressive! Over all it's better for anyone to go for reps not weight!.

My advice is to only go up weight when you can do 25 reps relaxed and manage 3 sets, then add on maybe 5 pounds progressively!. Like I said, in a year you'll be getting bulky doing either, so don't worry too much about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I saw a television show (60 minutes or something similar)!. The subject was prepubescent boys doing weight training!. Showed some of the kids at competition!. While the show took no definitive stand, a lot of information was presented that suggest the lower levels of testosterone of a prepubescent tended to cause some damage to the joints and bones that would not be evident until later in life!.

I would suggest you do some "heavy" research before trying to bulk up with weight training!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Take it easy!. Don't do too much serious weight lifting while your body is developing!. General advice for someone of any age is not to do a lop sided set of exercises!. If you're just benching you will overdevelop certain muscles and it can start to screw up your posture!.

Take some time to create a reasonable workout that is balanced!. Don't focus on gaining muscle weight at this age!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's a little late to be thinking about this now!. It is not wise to start weighlifting prior to age 16!. You need to give your muscles time to form & grow before you try enlarging them!. Go to AOL Search - type in - Scott H!. Young's Weighlifting Guide for Beginners - read that entire website to make sure you are doing your routines properly & maybe pick up some new idea's to add to your current routine!. Make sure you do not overextend yourself - the last thing you need is an injury or a hernia!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Nope!. But in the mean time, put more focus on your diet to help you grow more!. Eat foods that with high protein, such as eggs, milk, fishes, lean meat not only help you to grow muscles, but also help you to grow taller and stronger, since you're going through puberty!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This will not stunt your growth at all!.And when you get older you get big muscles dude
