i sorta know how your son feels!.!.!. no amount of praise works!.!.!. no matter what!.!.!.!. i broke my arm in volleyball and i never got back in very well!.!.!. finally 2 years later im back at a competing level!.!.!. Its a hard thing to get over!.!.!. Dropping weight is a hard thing to do!.!.!. the best i can say for that is to do lots of strenuous excercise and resistance trainging!.!.!. or weightlifting!.!.!. some other stuff that might help is a brace!.!.!. wearing a brace while hes playing will prevent large damage to the already hurt muscles and bones!.!.!.!. he cant wear it all the time though it has to be specifically for games only or it can actually weaken the muscles!.!.!. But finally, just tell him to play and to work hard!.!.!. all i did when i was unhappy with where i was in a sport was work harder!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Worry about his health first-- I'd be concerned if he is really ready to do that much sports given his injuries!. I grew up with a kid who broke his pelvis, but started playing basketball as soon as he got the cast off (even though his own uncle was the coach!)!. Wasnt but a few weeks before he got injured again, and walks with a very pronounced limp now due to the damage to his growth plates!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

your kid needs a break!.!.!.i dont' care how much he cries, be the parent and make him take some time off before he ruins his body permanently

a size 18 at age 11!?!?!? he IS fatWww@Answer-Health@Com
