You should be more insistent with your mom. While it may not be a medical emergency, you should be checked by a doctor as soon as possible. You will not die from this and probably not loose a testicle. If you let it go for a few days it may complicate the condition. She should take you to either a walk-in clinic or the hospital ER. Not that it is an emergency, it's just that you should not wait several days to a week for an appointment to see a doctor.

NEVER use the internet to self-diagnose. You're just going to freak yourself out doing that. If you testicle just started hurting today Give it a day or 2 before you see a doctor. Like other people have said you could have just twist or squished it without realizing it.

It can be sore as hell just by sitting in wrong position and squashing it and the more you mess the worse it gets.Dont!! Dont!! read up on things.we can drive ourselves mad with that.Its not uncommon to get sore balls ive had mine as lng as I can remember and they still hurt.Good Luck son.

Chill, bro. No one ever died of a sore/red testical. It probably got twisted a bit sitting down; or maybe you hurt it earlier on today without realising, and now it's catching up in the pain factor.

Just tell your mum that it really hurts and is swollen and red, that should get her attention
