circumcision re-redone?!


Question: Circumcision re-redone?
hi i had a circumcision performed january this year i think the cut was done quite close to the glans (it looks about 4-5 mm) which would make it a low circumcison and while flaccid the remaining skin covers about 3/4 to fully covering the glands which would make it a loose circumcision, so what i was wondering was could i have a re-circumcision done to have it tightened as well as having the frenulum removed but what i was worried about would a re-circumcision require loosing more inner fore skin therefore placing the scar closer to the glands

Answers:

1 You should have done research ahead of time to know what type of cut you wanted from the get go. Now you will have to pay for a whole new procedure. ($2,000-$5,000)
#2 Why do you want to remove your frenulum? You say you don't want to lose more inner foreskin yet you want to cut off the most sensitive part of the penis? What worries me is how eager you are to just cut up your penis multiple times.

You can get it re-done without losing more inner skin, just make sure you talk to your surgeon about this beforehand.
I don't advise removing the frenulum as you just cause more damage and sensitivity loss. I think you should be greatful that your glans can still be left covered and sensitive. That prevents a lot of the sensitivity loss associated with circumcision.

Just go back to the surgeon and tell him what you want to do.

As long as everything works, I think you should leave it alone.
I had the same procedure done about 30 yrs. ago, after the swelling went down some foreskin
that had not been removed slipped back over my glans.
At first it bugged me, but now I am glad as a tight circ. would mean that I would need lube to j/o
On cold days it looks like i was never cut, at other times no skin covers my glans, I thought about a re do but decided to leave well enough alone.



Leave it as it is, i had it done to me and i wished i hadn't
As long as what you have works fine then it is ok, just get used to it.



Dont av anymore off.The foreskin is different skin to rest of body and adds to the pleasure.Keep it!!!!

There is a large body of empirical scientific literature that conclusively demonstrates the foreskins crucial set of functions, among which include sensory, protective, immunological, and sexual. The anatomical and psychological facts of the foreskin been proven. The foreskin is a double fold of skin that is twice as big as its appearance, comprising up to 80% or more of the penile skin covering. (25) One of the functions of this mobile skin system is to glide up and down the shaft of the penis in order to facilitate non abrasive stimulation during sexual activity with out any need for artificial lubricant.

The neuroanatomy of the penis has been rigorously documented by respected anatomists of all kinds. The component tissues that comprise the foreskin are richly innervated with the greatest quantity and variety of sensory nerve endings then any other part of the penis(26,27,28,29,30,31,32,33,34,35). The glans(head) of the penis is actually the least sensitive part of the penis(33,34,35).

To no surprise, this information was corroborated in a 2006 study that physically measured the sensitivity of all the parts of the penis. They used a very accurate pressure sensing probe while the test subject, who’s view was blocked with a screen, reported a sensation of touch. To demonstrate precision they took each measurement multiple times. Statistically, their results where consistent. They concluded:

"Five locations on the uncircumcised penis that are routinely removed at circumcision were more sensitive than the most sensitive location on the circumcised penis[...] The glans in the circumcised male is less sensitive to fine-touch pressure than the glans of the uncircumcised male[...]The most sensitive location on the circumcised penis is the circumcision scar on the ventral surface [...] When compared to the most sensitive area of the circumcised penis, several locations on the uncircumcised penis that are missing from the circumcised penis were significantly more sensitive."(35)
