Is my height staying like this forever, I am 14?!

Question: Is my height staying like this forever, I am 14?
I know genetics play a huge role. I am 5'6" and I am taller than both of my parents by half an inch to an inch or so. Both my mother's parents were fairly short. My dad's mother was fairly short, but his dad was VERY tall. My dad says the doctor said 5'9" is the tallest I'm gonna get while my two younger brothers will reach 6' (yeah, I hate genetics lol). I am growing pubic hair but not much has changed with my height.

Answers:

Since you will not finish puberty until at least age 21 - or later, you must be patient & wait to see what all develops.
Genetics rule - you cannot re-program genetics.
You cannot MAKE yourself grow taller.
Life is not always the way it's supposed to be. It's just the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.

Well its possible however its also possible that you have hit a growth plateau that everyone hits sooner or later and you could get another growth spurt in future and grow taller. Especially since you have just started puberty I would say your going to grow quite a bit more.

Well, maybe it's the caffine. I read about how caffine affects growth because I'm fourteen and 4' 10" I only drink cokes. So, maybe you dronk too much caffine..

Dude when I was 14 I was already 6'0 tall. so you might be short like you dad. By age 16 I finally stop growing at 6'4.

You will be amazed how much you will grow by 21.
