how do i clean the head of my penis properly?!

Question: How do i clean the head of my penis properly?
Ok so theres one of those annoying layers of thin smegma on my penis not the usual kind the one that sticks and wont go away, its gradually going away now. I usually just clean my uncircumcised penis with soap and water, but dont pull the foreskin back nor clean the head of the penis.

I heard using any type of soap on the head of the penis will sting like hell if it touches the place you urinate. So, I think I'll start just using warm water for the head of the penis, and the foreskin soap like I do now.

Is cleaning the foreskin with soap, rinse, wipe, pull back foreskin, rinse with warm water, wipe, put foreskin back up a good method? what about soap and rinse instead of just warm water.

thanks :)

You need either a soap or a shampoo to get clean, after retracting the foreskin. I use Head and Shoulders shampoo (the blue one, not orange) and haven't had problems with burning, but a bar soap should be fine too. I just avoid rubbing the very tip of the penis, so it stays closed. Even if you do have some burning, just rinse with water and be more careful next time, or try a different soap.

You can use a non harsh non antibacterial soap on the foreskin. It's not going to sting but things like antibacterial soap can cause infection or irritation so stick with normal body wash and you will be fine. You NEED to be pulling the skin back to clean. You should never even get smegma. If you do you aren't clean enough. Pull back the skin and pick away all the smegma and then keep washing it everyday. Retract, rinse, replace no need to dry but you can if you want

You are taking this far to seriously, It's so simple to give it a good wash. Plenty of soap or shower gel, get a good froth. give it vigorous rubbing right back and forwards about a hundred times. And then it will be as clean as a new pin. don't forget to rinse.

It's amazing! I like this one. http://milanstreet.info/356339/water-wipe
