Personal Health Problem...? Boys only, please.?!

Question: Personal Health Problem...? Boys only, please.?
Hey. I've just turned 12, and, surprisingly, I've been in puberty for quite a while now. I heard the word "circumcised", looked it up, and now know what it means. I checked to see if I was circumcised, and I am not really sure. I've heard that an uncircumcised penis' skin envelops the head when the penis is not erect. Mine doesn't do that. I've also heard that an uncircumcised penis has a vertical line under the head. Mine DOES have that. Also, when my friend and I were around 10 we were playing outside. Needing to pee, and not wanting to go inside, we both went in the woods. I casually looked over at him, and noticed how different his penis was from mine. His had NO excess skin on the shaft of his penis, as mine does. I asked him why, and he said "It just doesn't," and we dismissed the fact. I'm pretty darn positive he's been circumcised, but not sure if I have myself. What are ALL the signs to tell if you've been circumcised or uncircumcised? I don't want to ask my parents; I'm just to embarrassed to! Please. Am I half-circumcised or something? Is that even possible!? Are their any benefits of being circumcised? Or of being uncircumcised? Ask for more details if you need them.

That verticle "line" you are talking about is not a line, it's called the frenulum. You can have that circumcised or not. I think you both have been circumcised. You were just circumcised loosely.

Just go look up pictures of both and you will know. If the foreskin doesn't cover the head when soft, then you were circumcised.

No there are no benifits to being circumcised. All it does is take away a ton of sensitivity and function from the penis making sex less enjoyable.

Restored my foreskin after being circumcised for 17 years

You either have a Foreskin or you don't.
If you're talking about the vertical line at the back of the penis, everyone has one. Its normal.
Its not about what happens when you are erect, whether or not the foreskin is tight or it goes back over the head its whether you have a foreskin at all,

Common sense.

hey i'm 13. i don't know exactly, but it is possible u've been circumcised, just not very much skin was removed (so kinda like half-circumcised i guess), or u have a tight foreskin. and there is absolutely no difference between a circumcised and uncircumcised penis, except appearance. email me if u have more questions: georgeourtown@yahoo.com

OK! Im 13 and today in health we discussed Circumsicision. Im pretty sure its possible to be half circumcised but its highly unlikley, so don't worry about it! And if worse comes to worse ask your parents! they will give the most resourseful and honest answer!

Look up a circumcised penis on google images and compare your to that. But there are really no benifits to being circumcised on not. It will still function properly.
P.S.: there's no such thing as half circumcised

common sense

The word is 'intact', not 'uncircumcised'. If you have all your limbs you don't say you're 'unamputated' - same thing with circumcision. 'Uncircumcised' is a word that circumcision fetishists use.

You were circumcised, but more loosely than many others. That means you were mutilated in a way that left you less damaged than many victims, and you'll find it easier if you try to restore your foreskin.

The line under the penis is called the frenulum - everyone, circumcised or intact, has one.

There are no benefits to being circumcised. In times past, people used to believe that circumcision had health benefits, but we now know that those supposed benefits were all bogus. Circumcision severely damages the penis and makes it permanently dysfunctional, which is why many victims of circumcision attempt to restore the foreskin. Foreskin restoration brings back most of the normal function of a natural penis.

As a guy who is "half" circumcised I can tell you that it is indeed possible, some doctors take less foreskin than others when they perform this procedure.
Some guys are cut real tight, an erection can be painful for them, others are cut looser and at times they may have some skin covering their penis head(glans)
These are regular variations in a circumcised penis. If you have no skin over your glans while flaccid
(soft) then you have been circumcised, or you may have a little, such as myself, meaning that the doctor did not do a tight cut.
I hope this helps.
