Does lack of exercise in your teenage years stunt or inhibit height?!

Question: Does lack of exercise in your teenage years stunt or inhibit height?
So everybody knows guys grow during their teenage years. And apparently some people tie exercising to height growth, idont know if this claim is true or false. But anyways, what is your thought on this topic? Because I rarely exercise and im a teenager, also slightly shorter than most people in my grade. And I always see tall people taking sports.
