I am a guy who has long hair and works part-time but I constantly feel the pressure from my parents/peers/society to cut my hair and "get a real job"!
Is this just me? I don't want to become a clone who joins the rat-race and sits in a little office cubicle from 9-5! Am I alone?!

If you have now responsibilities you can do what you like. If your life style works for you and you don't bludge off people then work part time.
Nobody promised you a Rose Garden, either, Bubba.
Your parents don't have enough backbone to kick you out of the house & make you stand on your own two feet.
You need to find yourself a rich woman that's looking for a warm body.
