Question about circumcision?!

Question: Question about circumcision?
Hi im 13 and im thinking of getting the cut.

Here are some questions that I would like answered:

Does it hurt DURING the surgery?
Are there any sexual benefits?
Do women prefer circumcised or non-circumcised guys?
What are the steps that are taken?
Eg. Step 1 - They insert needle to make it numb.
Step 2 - Blah blah blah.
Does it hurt during sex?
Are there any benefits with having foreskin? (except the "non-painful" feeling?)
--------------------------------------…

My cousin (10) got circumcised and said it hurt (couple days after the surgery) so im all clear on that ._.

I want to get circumcised due to the fact that it reduces chances of getting STD's and it is more hygienic (im a clean guy :3). But I want to know whats the difference between circumcised and non-circumcised?

Thanks :)

1. It doesn't hurt during the surgery---they deaden it for adults (they frequently don't bother for infants) It can hurt a lot afterwards, especially with the inevitable nighttime erections that frequently pull out stitches and leave the victim susceptible to infections.
2. No. Circumcision is one of the leading causes for the necessity and high usage of Viagra-type ED drugs in the USA. Circumcision is neural and vascular damage to the penis which always damages sexual feeling, function and ability.
3. Most of the women in the world prefer non-circumcised males, as about 80% of the males in the world are not circumcised.

"Adults who undergo circumcision report less-satisfying sex, reduced sensitivity and erectile function, difficulty with intromission and increased premature ejaculation."
---------from Nature Clinical Practice Urology 20 January 2009

Bear in mind that almost all circumcised males had it forced on them as infants, with no regard for their rights or preferences in the matter. Very few males ever actually choose to be circumcised, and hundreds of thousands of males hate the mutilation forced on them as infants.

It's absurd to think that damaging a penis will do anything to improve it.

Circumcised individuals have a higher rate of STD's and HIV. In Scandinavia, Europe, South America and most of Asia, where circumcision is rare, the rates of HIV and STD's are lower than in the USA. And it's not "cleaner." Circumcision doesn't prevent any disease or infection, the only things circumcision prevents are complete, natural and normal sexual feeling and function.

Circumcision is a fraud and a hoax.

A foreskin is not a birth defect; it is a birthright.

Ok, I'm a 25 yo girl, but I'm going to answer this anyway. My bf is not circumcised, but his foreskin does not completely cover his glans either (about 1/2 way I'd say).
Firstly, having or NOT having foreskin does NOTHING as far as STDs are concerned.
Secondly, as far as hygiene is concerned - if you shower everyday, it shouldn't make ANY difference.
Thirdly, I think he has the best of both worlds, he is natural and still has a HIGHLY sensitive glans (which I LOVE) and when he gets erect, the foreskin pretty much slides all the way back on its own and there is enough foreskin to come in 'handy' during handjobs so I don't have to use much if any lube on him (which means I can do him pretty much anywhere...LOL).
Besides, again from experience, once a penis gets hard and you push back the foreskin, they all LOOK pretty much the same.

A normal penis has foreskin to protect the penis from diseases and to have more pleasure in sex. If you are a clean person why do you need to circumcise? I have never heard of a study stating that uncircumcised men get more STD's than circumcised ones. All I can think of is, parents want their children to chop off their foreskin to prevent them from excessive masterbation because without the foreskin and when the penis is dry, it hurts during masterbation.

It doesn't reduce chance of getting STDs... It has been shown by several studies, and in USA, STD rates are higher than in Western Europe (where most men are uncut), especially among teens!
If you don't want to have STDs, wear a condom. And if you are clean you don't need to get circumcised.
"Are there any benefits with having foreskin?"
Sexually, I like having it. Seriously, don't get cut until you have some sexual experience.

of course it's going to hurt, they are cutting off the most sensitive part of your entire body. there are no sexual benefits, in fact you will lose sensitivity. and every girl has a different preference on whether they like cut or uncut, and some don't care at all. so you shouldn't get cut because you think it will help impress the ladies.
hygiene shouldn't be a problem if you wash. and circumcision does not help reduce any STD's. Just put a condom on to solve that problem.

This is a dumb question, voluntary circumcision at 13....really! The cleanliness and STD debate, again...really! But, I loved Tina S. reply and agree with everything she said...you go girl! Mine is exactly how she described it, uncut with skin covering half of head. I'm 8 inches and during intercourse, skin is fully back and hard as a rock! I never need lube to jerk off and EVERY gf i've had loves it
Since this is troll question, i don't mind saying, i've gotten erect just writing this and as i tug it, i can't imagine someone wanting to chop it. Now i'm going upstairs for my gf to perform a little fellatio on it!

1) NO
2) possibly appearance
3) it depends on which girl you are but it isn't a big issue
4) I don'tr know
5) ask your doctor
6) NO but you may need lubricant
7) no one can answer for you, YOU have to decide if it's good or not

about cleanlyness, I'm circumcised and I still need to wash so it isn't a good reason.

Go ahead and have your dick mutilated, just know it will be no cleaner and your chances of getting STD's are the exact same. Also have fun reaching for the lube bottle everytime you want to **** and look forward to prescribing to viagra when you hit 40.

circumcision is stupid.

it is ur choice i hv heard many gals saying they dont like uncut *****...but well thats not wat all gals think.if u want get it done...m circumcised n i like it that way.....circumcision is done under anaesthesia....so it doesnt hurt...

your doing it for all the wrong reasons.

i really doubt you are 13. troll

Woah woah woah, stopping before I even start. Being circumcised or not has absolutely NO EFFECT ON THE RISKS OF STD's. ZILCH. NADA. Wear a condom, and don't sleep around.

Okay, now then. I believe they numb you for it, so the pain is just after-surgery for a few days, not fun but not unbearable. They numb you up, and snip off some extra skin. As such, when hard you won't have to pull back skin, but you'll still have enough for jacking it.

Preference varies between girls, it's the same as liking a hair color more than another, just with less options.

It's easier to clean, and the tip will be less sensitive as it gets used to touching stuff more (such as your underpants as you walk around.)

There is a large body of empirical scientific literature that conclusively demonstrates the foreskins crucial set of functions, among which include sensory, protective, immunological, and sexual. The anatomical and physiological facts of the foreskin been proven. The foreskin is a double fold of skin that is twice as big as its appearance, it can make up to 80% or more of the penile skin covering, or about 12-20 square inches of skin, that’s like a 3x4 or a 4x5 index card!(42) One of the functions of this mobile skin system is to glide up and down the shaft of the penis in order to facilitate non abrasive stimulation during sexual activity without any need for artificial lubricant, this mechanism is the principal source of stimulation for the intact penis.

The neuro-anatomy of the penis has been rigorously documented by respected anatomists of all kinds. The component tissues that comprise the foreskin are richly innervated with the greatest quantity and variety of sensory nerve endings over any other part of the penis.(43,44,45,46,47,48,49,50,51) Many are surprised to discover that the glans or “head” of the penis is actually the least sensitive part.(44,50,51)

To no surprise, this information was corroborated in a 2006 study that physically measured the sensitivity of all the parts of the penis. They used a very accurate pressure sensing probe while the test subject, whose view was blocked with a screen, reported a sensation of touch. To demonstrate precision they took each measurement multiple times. The results were statistically consistent. They concluded:

"Five locations on the uncircumcised penis that are routinely removed at circumcision were more sensitive than the most sensitive location on the circumcised penis[...] The glans in the circumcised male is less sensitive to fine-touch pressure than the glans of the uncircumcised male[...]The most sensitive location on the circumcised penis is the circumcision scar on the ventral surface [...] When compared to the most sensitive area of the circumcised penis, several locations on the uncircumcised penis that are missing from the circumcised penis were significantly more sensitive."(51)

The foreskin, like the eyelid, also serves an important set of protective and immunological functions. The foreskin protects the delicate glans of the penis and puts the urethra at a distance form its environment protecting it from foreign contaminants of all kinds while simultaneously shielding the penis from injury. The foreskins inner fold and the glans of the penis are comprised of tissue that is called mucous membrane. These also exist in your eyes, mouth, and all other bodily orifices including the female genitals. These mucous membranes perform many immunological and hygienic functions. Certain components such as Langerhans cells(52), plasma cells(53), apocrine glands(54), and sebaceous glands(55), collectively secrete emolliating lubricants rich in enzymes such as lysosomal enzymes, cathepsin B, chymotrypsin, neutrophil elastase, immunoglobulin, and cytokine(56,57) whose function is to sequester and “digest” foreign pathogens. The foreskin is also responsible for the production, retention, and dispersal of pheromones such as androsterone(58). In time we will discover even more information about the foreskin and its functional components.

The intact penis is naturally clean and maintains a level of hygiene that is optimal over a penis that has been surgically altered for non-therapeutic reasons. In fact, a myriad of rigorously controlled studies performed by objective researchers among racially and socioeconomically homogeneous study groups in developed urban settings have shown that circumcision is often associated with an increased risk of bacterial infections, viral infections, and many major STD’s (59,60,61,62,63,64,65,66,67,68,69,70).

-No you are numb during the procedure.
-Absolutely not. Circumcision actually removes a ton of sensitivity from the penis making sex a lot less enjoyable. Circumcision also does a lot of nerve damage which greatly increases the chances of sexual dysfunction.
- Most don't care however that should have nothing to do with your decision you don't cut up your body for other people
-It can if they screw up the procedure or if you don't like the results.

The benefits of a foreskin:
-Sex feels better
-You can function to the fullest
-You have the lowest chance of getting a sexual dysfunction
-You have all your sensitivity
-You can do more sexual activities
-Orgasms are much more intense
-Orgasms last longer
-You never have to worry about lube

Circumcision does not reduce the chances of getting STD's, that has not been proven yet. The only studies that have been done on the subject are correlational ones. Those types of studies can't prove anything. I could do a study in a prison and find that 95% of people in prison use bread... that doesn't mean that using bread causes criminal minds or activity. There are many other variables that can't be accounted for in these studies, therefore they can't show that circumcising actually offers any benifit from STD's

Oh, far out dude! If those are your reasons, don't even go there. Circumcision isn't 'cleaner' - I say that having had partners both cut and intact - and it won't protect you from STDs. You need condoms for that, or stay abstinent or faithful. All the studies on how circumcision prevents this or that have all been refuted. One study was halted early as it showed a significant increase in transmission of HIV to women following the circumcision of their partners.

There are no sexual benefits. Circumcision leads to a gradual lessening of sexual sensation over many years as the glans (head) of the penis dries out and keratinises. It isn't better for women, either - basic physics at work here.

For some people, circumcision is considered culturally important as a rite of passage, and in circumcising countries women will often claim to prefer cut men. The opposite is true in cultures that don't circumcise though, so consider where you'll be living - and if a partner who wants you to amputate a part of your penis to please her is really worth it. Personally, I prefer my partners intact, with everything they were born with - but don't cut off a part of your body for someone else. Be clear that it's what you want, forever - there's no getting it back once it's gone.
