How to stop sweating as much?!

Question: How to stop sweating as much?
I have heard that getting fit is the way to stop sweating, but I am 18, 109 kg's/ 240 lb's and I cannot work out or gym and I am getting a shoulder reconstruction on the 17th. Is there any sort of way for me to reduce the level of sweat my body produces other than being in an air-conditioned house?

Answers:

Getting fit will help but it may not be the main cause of your sweating.

Changing your diet can also help. Foods to definitely cut down on are garlic, onions, hot peppers, spicy foods, foods containing monosodium glutamate, carbonated drinks, coffee and other items containing caffeine.

There are also foods that can help reduce your sweating including those that contain complex carbohydrates, low-fat milk products and green tea. Complex carbohydrates are commonly found in wholegrain, fruit and vegetables.

The most common cause of excessive sweating is nervousness and not having enough self confidence.

However, there are many different ways to control sweating, and some work better than others. The first way to stop excessive sweating is to purchase powerful antiperspirants. Those who suffer from excessive sweating will start fighting it by purchasing standard antiperspirants. However, these antiperspirants may not work, especially if your excessive sweating is truly excessive. There are, however, some more powerful antiperspirants out there. They’re designed to combat excessive sweating, and while they are more expensive, some say they really do work. These prescription strength products all include aluminum chloride hexahydrate, a powerful antiperspirant.
