I can't pull my foreskin back to clean because it's cracked and ripped!

Question: I can't pull my foreskin back to clean because it's cracked and ripped... what do I do?
Lately, I've noticed that when I try to pull my foreskin back to clean under there, I can't because it hurts way too much. I've never had this problem before, so after the shower I decided to examine what was going on, and I noticed my foreskin, near the tip, is cracked dry and ripped. I've also noticed as I've been getting older, pulling my foreskin hurts more now. I'm 18 now, and I never had this problem before. As for it cracking, I've also been very sick lately so I don't know if that might be a cause.

I'm wondering if I HAVE to clean it everyday, like I have been doing, because it hurts. If not, is there any way to clean it without retracting the foreskin?

Try not masturbating until it heals. Masturbating is only going to aggravate the wound.

The tip of the foreskin won't heal properly if it keeps cracking when you pull it back to clean it or any other activity :-)
If your foreskin is getting tight as your getting older a good chance is your penis is bigger than the width of the top of your foreskin, it does stretch but just not enough for the head to come out easily, which can cause the skin to crack or split a little.
Go to the doctors and get it checked out but usually circumcision is your best bet if the skin is to tight Good luck babe x

Dude you need to clean your cock regularly as it may cause phimosis. You may have to get circumcised.

I'm not sure I'm circumsized and don't have to deal with this hassle.

My fiance had the same problem, and at age 18 too. How odd.

You don't have to clean everyday no, the soaps and perfumes could even irritate it further. Give it a break for a few days, and then go out and buy a nice scent-free baby wash, or feminine wash (you should be using these anyways!), and start out slowly, and rinsing well.

If your symptoms don't clear, you will need to rule out the possibility of an infection. Yeast or bacteria, which both love dark, moist areas on the body. Especially if you were recently sick, and your immune system was down.

Best of luck!
