Question: Can using weights to young damage your arms?
i am 13 and am just wondering if you could damage your arms by using weights

Yes you can damage your body because you're not fully developed yet. Your body is still growing. Just take it easy!!



Answer #1 I agree with. Unless you're under expert coaching you should *not* do Weight Training till you are aged 16 plus.

Meantime what you can do, even though you are using your own body weight, are Press-ups and even Push-ups. With the former you only lift up the torso from the arms & waist, whereas with the latter your toes balance you while you use the arms only to push upwards.
