How much should I weigh?!


Question: How much should I weigh?
I'm a 15 year old boy. I'm 5'11 and I weigh about 144 pounds. Am I like.. Way under where I should be?

Answers:

according to the BMI chart your underweight... But if you feel healthy and look healthy, you probably are healthy. Just a fast metabolism.

Sounds fine to me and you're not overweight which is great but...

Actual weight can be deceptive - you can have somebody who weighs 144 pounds and is lean and healthy and another person who weighs 144 pounds and is carrying quite a lot of fat and not as much muscle. I know which I would prefer to be. Athletes and good doctors generally ignore body weight and instead measure body fat and lean muscle.

14-15 yrs. 63-66 inches tall. 105-125 lbs

16-17 yrs. 67-70 inches tall 130-150 lbs
