Workout plan while at the gym?!


Question: Workout plan while at the gym?
Ok, so im 16, I just joined the gym Saturday and went for the first time Tuesday. I mostly used the elliptical,treadmill, and upper body system. Im overweight and Im looking for an organized workout plan that will help me burn calories and weight fast (yes I know it takes time as I'm patient). p.s. Im not up for a physical trainer, I'm just looking for what machines to use and for how long. Thanks guys!!!

The elliptical is good, but build into it and have it do that up-and-downhill function, which gives you a real workout. At least 20 minutes and 40 would be better.
