Question: At almost 40, my libido is FINALLY starting to wane. I couldn't be happier but friends say I'm crazy. Am I?
I think I'm finally hitting the age where the libido starts slowly transforming into one of life's little "options" instead of an absolute, all-encompassing _mandate_ (no pun intended). Am I strange for being relieved about it? :-? And is this actually the right age for that sort of thing to begin? :-?

It's like realizing you're no longer the Convertible Sports Car enthusiast & are now more comfortable driving a SUV. A welcome relief. You no longer have to put on appearances or keep up with your peers. Life is good.
Life is not always the way it's supposed to be. It's just the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.
