Can anyone suggest medication for a prostate enlargement patient with a Gleason&!

Question: Can anyone suggest medication for a prostate enlargement patient with a Gleason's score of 6?
I don't want radiation treatment or surgery. Is there a pill that I can purchase that has proved effective?

The only way you can get a Gleason Score is to have a biopsy done on your prostate and a 6 is considered high indicating cancer. There is a pill called Casodex and injections of Lypron to lower your PSA and put the cancer in remission but Cryro surgery or Radiation are better treatments for prostate cancer. You can also have the prostate removed surgically.

They are talking about Avodart a lot now days. It is not a cure but so far studys have shown it has held off the cancer. They also have some kind of pelts they can put inside a person and have had good results. Your doctor should have discussed some of these with you. There is also a few others that help but like all medic there can be some kind reaction.

I have no proof of this but in some ways I also feel that ones sex life may have something to do with this illness that affects men. If they have been cut back or doing with out for a lng time things tend to build up. Women on the other hand do not have a prostate so do not suffer the side effects of it. Not sure if it will help but once a week masturbate. Granted this may not be what you are after you may even try having the prostate massaged. It is rather difficult to reach alone however they do make devices that help this out some. I would much rather try some kind of med than the other route. Even the spouse could help out some. But many men have this problem you are not alone in it at all.

Have you considered prostate massage.

You can go to professional
or buy a massager like the Nexus Glide.

Raw food diet and lots of fresh veggie juice. Check it out it works better and faster than you think. Doctors don't cure things but nature does.
