Red dot's after shaving pubic hair? Is this normal?!

Question: Red dot's after shaving pubic hair? Is this normal?
I'm soon to be 20 and I decided to start shaving my pubic area. However, I have acquired several red dot's in the area above my penis?

Is this a normal reaction to shaving? I have a picture if needed. I'll need to send it via email though

I have shaved my pubic area for a long time and when I first started I had the same thing happen. For some reason the skin just reacts like that when its not use to having the pores of the hair follicles exposed after shaving. Nothing to worry about! it only happens the first one or two times depending on how frequently you shave. The itching and poky feeling also go away completely after the second time.

To avoid razor burn you should use shaving cream or some other cream. Personally I use hair conditioner because it leaves the skin very slippery and totally visible. With shaving cream you can't see where you are shaving as well and therefor you cut yourself very easily. I dont like cutting myself down there lol. I have never seen shaving cream thats specific for the pubic region but it might exist.

It looks and feels much better shaved !! ;)
Happy shaving :)

my experience.

Yes that's normal for people who start shaving their pubic hair, I got them too when I 1st started shaving.

Just put acne cream on them or get your ingrown hairs removed permanently with electrolysis.
Last time I got electrolysis permanent hair removal on my pubic hair I got alot of my ingrowns removed permanently.

Also go to my profile & read my blog about why there's nothing wrong with pubic hair removal.

No this a common sign of several STD's. See a doctor immediately to be tested. If you want to listen to these random people and pretend it could not be something serious good ahead, if you're serious than have a doctor look at it.

yes, its razor burn. You need to use a good shaving cream or gel, and to get rid of razor burn, you can buy this stuff called Tend Skin and it will help clear it up. There are also other products, but thats the one I know off hand and use

For this kind of shaving it's best to use an old-fashioned cut throat razor. Keep the blade sharp and clean and you should avoid any red dots. Also splash on some aftershave when you've finished.

Dnt wrry its due to pulling of hair by razor just use a gud blade nd use shaving cream coz i use it..It makes hair soft nd easy to b cutted nd dnt apply large pressure on ur razor

Self exprncd

It's shaving irritation. make sure you use shaving cream.

youre dying

Its what we call a rash. Consult your parmacy for some ointment.
