Sometimes I notice when I'm washing my tool and get soap in my urethra it burns! Is that normal, and no I don't have an STD.

Answers:

Yeah I actually just got out of the shower and did this. It doesn't happen to often but it burns the tip for a little while when I do.

Yes soap for sure will burn in Your urethra! The urethra is a mucous membrane just like the inside lining of your nose or the surface of your eye ball.

You should most of the time just rinse your penis, and if you do at times choose to use a cleaner, you should use a gentle PH neutral shampoo like Johnson's no tears baby shampoo. It's safe, won't burn mucous membranes and won't burn in your urethra. It's still wise to keep any cleaner out from the opening, but some times it can just get in there.

If you're non circumcised, the head of your penis is also a sensitive mucous membrane instead of skin. Soap is so not good for that part of your body. The PH neutral Johnson's baby shampoo is great there for when you decide to do more that a warm water rinse. Circumcised guys should stay away from regular soap in these parts and go with the PH neutral product.

It won't damage or dry the membrane surface and leaves you really fresh for the times that you choose to use a cleaning solution. Realize that a baby scalp is totally sensitive. The shampoo is safe and a great choice. You still need to rinse it completely off of coarse.

Me! :- )

Yes it's normal. Men's and women's urethra are very sensitive to soaps and chemicals in soap. Rinse the area with lots of warm water after using soap then it should be okay.

Yeah, totally normal.

whaaat~? how far is the soap going in... It shouldn't burn if you're just washing normally. Well, I don't anyway, but I guess some guys are more sensitive.

its normal dude....if it goes sometimes in....it may burn....its ok...the cure is to prevent applying too much of soap on ur junk area...

I think that's normal because it burns like hell when it happens to me too
