Question: Do I have Gynecomastia or its just a fat around chest?
I'm now turning 19, my chest was normal till I was 13, I had very less muscles so I decided to go to Gym and I worked out and got some decent muscles but I also had some fat(little) and when classes started I couldn't go to gym and few months later my chest began to look like a boob, my nipples were puffy and they stuck out of T-shirts and from then it started affecting my social life, but still only one of my friend had noticed that I had man boobs, I was hiding the nipples behind the shirts by bending myself forward, but it gave me bad posture,(I'm trying to correct the posture now), my friend who noticed also had the same problem as mine, but it's so embarrassing, I'm always trying to hide those nipples since years... Recently I started working out again and right after when I do push ups and bench press my chest looks normal, but after some time it looks the same, I have some body fat( not much noticeable), I'll do work outs and cardio daily. Will my man boobs dissappear or it'll be the same. If it dissappears, I'll be the happiest person in the whole world... plz give me your suggestions and openions and reply fast, sorry for my bad English....

You can search for some photos and compare it to what you have. Then you can decide if you really have gynecomastia. If you want to be sure, go see a doctor.

well if you can relate to the images using google image, then i suggest going to the doctors and getting it looked at.



It is hard to sa without knowing what your chest looks like. If you have no hard masses under the skin the odds are in favor of fat mass and not Gyno. the fact your chest looks normal after pushups is a good sign as well. Keep up with the exercising and watch your diet and sleep routine to be sure you are getting the optimum results. For the chest, add chest specific exercises and develop the muscles. Also be sure you are working out properly especially about routine and frequency. The cardio will help reduce body fat overall which is good because there is no way to spot reduce fat in one part of the body.
