Question: Declined from the army again someone please help?
ok this is the second time i have applied to the army iv just got declined the letter says i have been declined because i have eczema but the closest thing i have found to my condition for my skin is Xerotic eczema but its not itchy, sore or cracked as such but its more like when in winter when most people get that white flaky bit of skin but i get it on my and legs in winter and it goes in summer and because i have used oilatum cream last year i have been declined is there anything i can say to my doctors to get me undeclined as i dont really see what i have is eczema.

Look at it this way: If the army take you and then, after training you are sent out on the battlefield and your skin problems break out, who's going to give you any necessary treatment? OF COURSE they won't take you - and apart from that, they won't want their other personnel seeing you with ANY kind of eczema which they may regard as "catching". You have to consider morale as well.
Perhaps those who say they see no reason for your failure to be recruited might like to join up with you and find themselves in the bunk next to you out in a war zone so that they can rub your ointment in for you....

Well if the medical personnel say that you have an issue there is nothing that will persuade them otherwise. You can talk to your recruiter however it is unlikely that will do any good. With the recent down turn of the economy allot of current military are reenlisting and more want to get in so they are more selective than they once were.

I find it difficult to accept that the army would refuse a recruit on the basis of a skin issue You must write to them and ask for an explanation as this one seems quite week to me Good Luck

You aren't going to get declined from the military for having a skin disorder a TON of people have. Talk to the Army recruits.

Hi Adam
Try 1% hydrocortisone cream, a mild steroid, this should help to clear it up for you.
Best wishes
