Question: Help! there's a small disc shaped lump under my right nipple (male)?
i've got a disc shaped lump udner my right nipple, im 16 years old. is it something to do with hormones? what is it? how do i get rid of it?

Answers:

During adolescents males will develop small lumps under their nipples.

This is normal - it isn't fat and it isn't cancer.

It's where, biologically, if you were a woman you'd start to develop breasts. They will eventually disappear on their own without forming breast tissue and are nothing for you to be concerned about.

However if they are troubling you and you would like a second opinion by all means visit your doctor.

To the other replies, seriously did none of you guys go through puberty? Maybe have a little think before suggesting that the poster is either going to die or is overweight - jeez

I actually went through puberty... and I'm a genius.

It is most likely storage for fat. If you're overweight, it's very common. If not overweight, it might be simply a chimerical bump.

men can get breast cancer too. probuly a cyst thow. ifit grows or grows or becomes painful, better see the doc
