It does sound like you have started. IF nothing happens in a year or so talk to your doc.
If your sense of smell is weak or absent, be sure to tell the doc as that is indicative of a potential problem.

Yes, probably. Don't worry about it, it's perfectly normal-- but you will need to be prepared for the possibility of random erections. When it happens, you should probably prepare to be sitting or have something to cover yourself with, just because it isn't usually viewed as socially acceptable to have erections in public-- but it's nothing you can help or change, it's just part of growing, and all us guys go through it.

What you experienced is very natural, but doesn't have anything to do with marking the beginning of puberty. You'll see the changes when it's your time. It shouldn't be long now since most boys enter puberty between 12 and 15.
