My older sister took accutane for a few months (maybe a year i cant remember) and she had NO MORE PIMPLES! She looks great! What happened to her was that her lips got puffy and dry and her skin was peeling and was very dry. Dont take it if you are pregnant. You have to get a blood test every month to make sure you arent pregnant. But it works. It really works!

Dryness is the main side effect. There have been other ones as well but they are much more rare. The dryness is almost a guarantee. I would recommend against taking accutane in the Winter months.

Dry, dry, dry skin. But it works wonders :)

Used Acutanne in the past.

There are a large number of lawsuits against the makers of Accutane.
Personally - I would not risk it.
