My Penis. What should I do?!

Question: My Penis. What should I do?
I'm 16 years old. Ever since I can remember, I've never been able to pull my foreskin back. When I masturbate I always just rub myself and I've never been able to do it the "traditional way". I've tried to pull back my foreskin in the shower slowly and even used soap but I just can't do it. I've always ignored it all my life but now as I'm getting older and nearer the age where I might be thinking about having sex, I want to do something about it. I'm also worried about contracting something or it getting infected as I learned in school you should wash underneath your foreskin regularly, but I've never washed there in my whole life. Can I have sex with a condom on if I don't pull back my foreskin? What will happen if I don't wash under my foreskin? Does it hurt having sex with your foreskin not pulled back? What should I do?

Relax Chris, you are not alone. Most intact (not circumcised) guy out there have had a tight foreskin at one time in their life.
A warm bath (NOT hot) works the best, because the warmth and moisture helps to relax the skin. Pull your foreskin back gently only until it just starts to hurt (not in pain) and hold it for a minute. Do that as often as possible. Also do it when you're alone in your room or when you're alone in the bathroom. After a couple weeks you should notice a difference. Also you can pull the foreskin forward, away from your body. That will help stretch it too. Put a couple fingers under it, when you pull it forward and stretch it that way. Also, once you have access to your head under the foreskin, it is going to be extremely sensitive to touch so be very gentle with the skin on the head and inner foreskin. Lastly, there is a thin strip of skin that runs under the head, connected to the inner foreskin that is suppose to be there. Be very careful with that, its not uncommon for that to rip or tear if you are rough with it.
Never use soap under the foreskin, only ever use plain water. Soap can irritate the sensitive mucus tissues of the head and inner foreskin. They can dry it out or make it itch and raw. It also removes essential oils that are naturally produced under your foreskin.

You can have sex without pulling the foreskin back, but you run the risk of having it pushed back too far, which aside from being extremely painful, can cause serious injury to the penis.

Hope this helped you a bit Chris. Good luck!!

Okay... Yes you need to pull your foreskin all the way back, it will eventually go all the way back and it will hurt and you might bleed, but that's it, Just pull it back !!!

Most men I've been w/ J**k-off with the skin over the head! However I do link to see the head. Heads are like faces on a person. No two are the same. But,Let it "see"sunlight.

A lazy doctor woudld say you need circumcision.

have an simple operation and cut short the foreskin

take care for your
routine with it

You are not alone and quite a few young guys have an issue with a tight foreskin . Usually by age 16 is has eased off sufficiently to allow retracting . Your best bet is to go to your doctor who can prescribe the right cream to ease things off . Do not be embarrassed as I already said it is a common issue and easily treated . As for cleaning under the foreskin and making sure there is no smegma build up yo could try the following , find a plastic bottle with a neck wide enough to allow your penis to enter easily . In the shower fill this with warm water and insert your penis , squeeze the bottle so the water rushes out and some will force under the foreskin and wash out for you . But go to the doctor as soon as you can , the receptionist will not ask you why you need to see the doctor , that is between you and the doctor Good Luck

Hi Chris: There is nothing wrong with you. You have a naturally tight foreskin, just like every other intact (not circumcised) man on the planet had at your age. Over 85% of the males on earth are intact so you are on the winning side. The other 15% wish they still were intact.
Do not listen to the one who said you need to force the foreskin back to clean under there. Nature has this well in hand. The foreskin/glans produce a powerful anti microbial compound called Langerin. Langerin wards off bacteria, and keeps this area clean and disease free,...just like you are now, without ever having retracted to clean under there. Women who say you have to force the foreskin back should go to the womens health site and answer questions where they have some expertise.
You can wear a condom while having sex, without retracting the foreskin. Let's just solve the problem of the tight foreskin first, and then all the issues will go away.
Follow the information in the links below and work the stretches into the daily shower routine. Let the warm water loosen and relax the skin before stretching. Stretches are to be firm, but gentle, with no pain. Pain is a damage indicator. Over stretching till it hurts can create micro tears in the skin opening that heal over with non elastic scar tissue, making retraction more difficult. No pain,...ever!!
Do not listen to anyone who says you have phimosis and need to be circumcised. True clinical phimosis is when you cannot retract enough to see the urethral opening, and is very rare.
Ignore the comments about getting circumcised. By the very nature of it, circumcision is a cruel, brutal, and destructive procedure that unnecessarily removes 75% of the sexually sensitive tissue on the penis. This foreskin contains more than 20,000 touch and pressure receptors. How could letting some hack in a lab coat slice this skin off make things better? It can't and it won't.
Just keep at the stretches until you achieve the results you want. You will begin to see some progress and two weeks, with full and painless retraction in 3-4 months. If it takes longer, just keep stretching.
What will happen is the Frenar Band (google it) of muscle that closes down the skin opening will relax and expand enough to allow the foreskin to glide effortlessly back and forth over the coronal ridge. This will take time, but these stretches work.
Go to: www.norm.org and read about the reason and function of the foreskin. You will see how very fortunate you are to still have yours, and how misguided are those who promote circumcision for any reason.
Good luck with this.

You are only supposed to ask one question LOL
So what SHOULD you do ?

1) Nothing.
Well not a lot anyway. You CAN do some gentle stretching
but don't tear it or it will make it worse. Stretching the frenar band (google it)
forward is usually the most effective.
Ignore that sadistic female up there = no it should not bleed.

2) Soap on the glans is not a good idea. It actually PUTS germs under there.

3) No you won't get infected = Old wives tales =
Most of what they tell you in school is rubbish
it is clean "under there" = smegma protects it like @Mithras tells you.

4) You can over-wash = it only needs 3 second wipe with finger on bit you can see.
Most infections caused by over-washing than not washing

5) Yep you can have sex with foreskin forward and rolling condom down
over the top is a good idea.
No it shouldn't hurt = if you do it THAT hard you hurt girl too.

6) Last question = not a lot really
but you can go to that network54 link that @Mithras has given you
and it's quite interesting
but at 16 just using it will mainly sort it out.

At your age, you are a minor yet. Tell your father that you cannot pull your foreskin back to keep your penis clean and free from infections, so that he make an appointment with the doctor. You will probably need a simple operation called circumcision, in which your foreskin is cut away and your penis head (the glans) remains exposed all the time. You father knows about these things and maybe he has the same problem when he was young. In USA most men are circumcised. Don't force your foreskin because it might go back and get stocked behind the head, and in that case you need to go to the emergency room.

If your father does not live with you, tell your mother. She is your best friend.

I am sure that there are many guys like you. Only that we don't talk about this.
