I think his abs look fine. He's no model, but he's better than most Average Joes out there.

In the sense of body fat percentage, yes, absolutely. That is the perfect body fat percent for that person. However, doing some muscle confusion core exercises and really building the ab muscles to be bigger is what will push the body from good to great. The hard part is always losing fat though, that's the good news.
