You don't say what the medical reason was, but in almost all cases there are other less invasive procedures available that would have left you with all or most of your foreskin.
If you think you've lost some feeling now, just wait another 20 years and see how much you've lost then.

As for it being cleaner, I sometimes get the impression from circumcised guys that they don't think they need to wash at all. If you don't keep yourself clean you'll start to smell, foreskin or not, basic personal hygiene is a requirement for everyone.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but it's not cleaner, and there's no medical reason for circumcision. There are far less damaging ways to fix any medical problem with the foreskin.

On the hygiene issue, the foreskin NEEDS certain bacteria in order for it to do its job of protecting the penis from infection. There's this commonly held (but wrongheaded) notion that bacteria is dirty and therefore bad, but the fact is, the vast majority of bacteria are harmless and many forms of bacteria are helpful. Only a very few are harmful. Bacteria can be found throughout our digestive tracts and they work in a symbiotic relationship with our immune systems to prevent infection. This is also the case with the bacteria found on the foreskin and glans. So when you claim that a circumcised penis is 'cleaner', that ain't a good thing! If your penis is free from bacteria, it is actually less healthy. In a very real sense, if you have no bacteria on your penis, you are less clean, because you probably have an overgrowth of fungus there - and that can be very bad for your health.

Yes you are correct, uncut does result in more feeling for the man, more pleasurable sex (to a point). Being cut exposes the skin on the glans that was designed to be protected, deadening it to a degree as time goes by. As for cleanliness, it is not necessarily cleaner, just easier to clean. The reputation of getting boys cut to avoid fungus or disease came from the days when bathing was a weekly or monthly event.

Western society widely supports getting boys cut, where Eastern usually does not (some exceptions to both yes, but generally). Western society does not approve of circumcision of women, where in the East there are many cultures that do and some that require it. Now, given that circumcision decreases sexual pleasure in both sexes (female much more than male, granted), it should be clear which culture is male dominated. It's not the West.

Anthony, in your question yesterday you said you were circumcised 2 weeks ago, you said that the doctor did not remove enough foreskin.

I had this done 30 yrs. ago, the doctor left a lot of foreskin on me, it covers half of my glans at times.
You are lucky that he gave you a loose cut, some guys get a cut that is so tight that an erection is painful.
As far as cleanliness goes I am no cleaner now than I was when had foreskin, it takes about 15 seconds in a shower to strip the skin back and wash, if a guy stinks with or with out foreskin it is due to a lack of personal hygiene, barring problems with foreskin that won't retract.
I am 58, 30 years after getting cut, my penis still works as good as the day I had it done, I take no pills for an erection.
As far as women liking or not liking foreskin goes, most women care far more about foreplay than they care about foreskin.
I am against infant circumcision, the penis belongs to the guy it's attached too, if when he is an adult he chooses to get circumcised for what ever reason, it's his choice.

Dude be a advocate for not getting circumcised. There was a time that i thought i should get it done but decided not to after talking to my buddies about it and realizing that masterbation was a lot easier with the foreskin. Chicks did not mind my uncircumcised penis so why do it. good luck to you and your new penis
