Burning While Stopping Urination?!

Question: Burning While Stopping Urination?
I'm an otherwise healthy 17 year old male who experiences pain during stopping of urination. This has been going on for several years, but only occurs sporadically, usually at intervals of about 3 weeks to a month. To be more specific, it will occur once, and then not occur again for another few weeks. I begin to dread myself being "due" to experience that discomfort. I've taken to urinating sitting down because it tends to make the experiences of pain have longer times between them. The pain feels sort of like a tearing in the area below my testicles. It feels like there are two tubes there, and they both feel like they're ripping when the pain occurs. I have no other obvious problems with it (no discoloration, no excessive frequency) other than just a possibly very small difficulty in starting the stream occasionally (not a huge issue). Sometimes, I press down on the area after I've stopped urinating so that the rest of my urine will leak out.

I'm very worried about this, as it's a cause of discomfort. These problems began before I was sexually active, and so I am nearly positive it cannot be an STD. Please help.

Answers:

You may just be drinking too much acidity at different times, that will cause it. Watch what you drink and cut down on acidity products. If that don't help see a urologist.
