Pecs have been sore for 3rd week straight?!


Question: Pecs have been sore for 3rd week straight?
I work out all the time so I understand what it is like to be sore after a lift. I maxed on bench 3 weeks ago and ever since then, when I bench its hurts really bad. If i am stretching my pecs it does not hurt at all. its only when I bench. Does anyone know what is going on?

Sounds like u have a micro tear some where in your chest muscles.

Normally when we work out we tear down muscles, it sounds like u hurt yourself.

These kinds of injuries requires rest, deep massage and heat (hot tub jets).

I tore my biceps tendon Jan. 3. It connects to the bone at the elbow. My elbow was swollen and unusable for three weeks. At first I couldn't figure out my problem. All I knew was my elbow was swollen. Finally after the swelling went down I could pinpoint the pain-inside (medial) elbow and my weakness-bicep.

I did light biceps exercises for 2 weeks; now I'm almost ready to work heavier.

Give it a rest; pin point the pain.

Figure out your limitation..


For three weeks a had to be inventive in my work outs. I did plenty of legs abs-anything that did not require my left elbow. I ran the tread mill and took spin classes.
