Is it normal to be grossed out by uncircumcised men?!

Question: Is it normal to be grossed out by uncircumcised men?
I just can't see one without getting a bit nauseous (pics) and hope I never see a real one but I feel bad for feeling this way :(

Answers:

You're from the UK? You realize about 85% of men living in the UK are intact, right?

@ realangst

LOL, it's not unclean.

And actually, STD and HIV/AIDS rates are highest in countries where most men are circumcised.

And there's no need to wash several times a day. Once in the shower is fine. A circumcised penis needs to be washed, too.

Let me guess, you're AMERICAN! You have to be because if you were from anywhere else in the world you'd probably feel the opposite.

Seriously though, what's there to be grossed out about? A penis is a penis to me. One has a little bit more skin on it and the other doesn't. I think it's kind of ridiculous be nauseated by a normal part of a man's body. Also, don't knock it till you've tried it. I actually prefer the intact penis because it offers a lot more "variety" in bed (if you know what I mean). I think you've probably just been brainwashed from what you might have "heard" about uncircumcised penises, but most of it is nonsense I assure you.

No. It's not normal to feel ill when seeing a normal penis. It's actually self-destructive, since a circumcised penis can be damaging to the vagina.

Your strong feeling suggests that you may have a phobia or a paraphilia such as acrotomophilia. Have you considered seeing a psychiatrist and getting evaluated?

My dad wasn't circumcised and it was a little odd since I was, but the thing is the uncircumcised penis is a bit more sensitive and the sensations are a bit more Intense. that's what the research say's. You get it riled up and the uncircumcised penis is not that much different looking from circumcised ones

Don`t be so narrow-minded, stop believing pro-circ bullsh*t and open your eyes, uncircumcised penis is not more disgusting than a circumcised one if the guy maintain a good hygiene of his private parts. The first time you`ll see an uncircumcised penis will bust all the myths you have about uncircumcised penis.

No, I wouldn't call that normal. I'd call it a little superficial to be honest. Most men in the world are not circumcised and about 30 of American men aren't either. I'm not really sure what your hangup is (unless you've just happened to see one or two extraordinarily ugly ones in pictures or something). But most of them don't look that much different than circumcised penises. When the skin is back they all pretty much look the same anyway. Plus, if you've never seen one before in real life, it's kind of hard to take such a prejudgment seriously. I'm uncircumcised, but I've never had a complaint before.

You better not ever hook up with a Latino guy or a Brit, German, Frenchman, Russian, Irishman, Italian, South American or anyone from Asia. You are seriously limiting your options to Jews, Muslims and about 2/3 of American males.

What's so gross about them anyway? There are many advantages to having foreskin (for both the male and female). You should probably look that up before you judge it.

it looks weird, unnatural even. then if u read the horror stories about how unclean they r, its easy getting grossed out. i saw this dude once at the pool showers and i thought he had a triangular penis because of all that extra skin. but then i read about the disease rate - stds, AIDS - amongst uncircumcised guys it really made me throw up a little. its not the guy's fault, his parents just didn't have him cut when he was born. if he really keeps it clean, several times a day, its no problem. some girls even say they prefer it. we
