Insanely big lump left nipple? (male)?!

Question: Insanely big lump left nipple? (male)?
It's been there for quite some time, my other nipple/breast area doesn't have it. It hurts if I push on it. I am 16 years old, the lump has gotten bigger and is visually noticeable compared to my other nipple. What is it?

or breast cancer

It is normal for males to develop a lump on one or both of their breast during puberty which may be sensitive when pressure is applied. However, see a physician if you're having symptoms like cold sweats, abnormal weight gain/loss, discoloration, extreme pain, night sweats, or the lump is larger than a pencil eraser since these are the usual indications of something more serious.

It is a condition known as gynecomastia, and is relatively common in males going through puberty.
Excess hormonal production causes a swelling or node to develop under one or both nipples. in most cases, this well reverse itself when hormone production returns to normal levels. In a minority of cases, i does not recede, and only cosmetic surgery can eliminate it.
Many boys are embarassed by the condition, but remember your own scrutiny of your body is much more intense than others. It is not a threatening condition.

Well its normal in puberty for males to get hard lumps in one or both of there nipples. Likely it will go away in time. If it continues to bother you or worry you go see your doctor.

I would see a doctor, ASAP. Don't wait, why worry. Find out what it is.
