I'm a guy in my early 20s, with some problems maintaining my muscle mass?!

Question: I'm a guy in my early 20s, with some problems maintaining my muscle mass?
Hi all. I'm a guy in my early 20s, 6 feet tall, 185-190 lbs weight, a mesomorphic body, and a diet a little too rich in sweets (though that's never stoped me from putting on muscle, and maintaining it when I'm at the level I like). Been weight lifting for about 6-7 years. I've had some problems keeping my muscle mass, I'm seeing some major losses, mostly taking place at the pectoral area.

The rest of my body seems to be just fine (I'm not one of those guys who trains just the gym muscles, I work almost everything equal well), but no matter how many bench press workouts I schedule, no matter how much extra protein I eat, it makes no difference. I had a change of workouts a while back (which was for building extreme endurance, not muscle mass), and soon after I switched off that onto my old routine, that's when the problems started. Any suggestions?

A bodybuilding forum.

YA is too mainstream and dumbed down to give you an accurate answer. That's why I'm the only one who's responded. YA is better for smartass jokes, or Jerry Springer type confessions/discussions.

Talk to the experts.. ie the people who frequent bodybuilding message boards.
