why was i circumcised? benefits/drawbacks?!

Question: Why was i circumcised? benefits/drawbacks?
i am not sure whether or not its a good thing that i am or not. idk if women enjoy sex better when men aren't but its not like i have a choice now. is there any medical reason why parents decide (if its their decision) to have their child circumcised. what are benefits/drawbacks of circumcision?

Answers:

There are no medical benifits to circumcision. It used to be believed that it did however it's been proven circumcision does nothing to a man as far as health benifits go. The circumcision rates have really plummetted in the US because more and more people are realizing that circmcision is a very damaging procedure that removes a ton of sensitivity and function from the penis.
I restored my foreskin last year after being circumcised for 17 years and I more than doubled my sensitivity. So that kind of shows how much it takes away. (And I can't get back everything that was lost too).

To me there are no upsides of circumcision. Only downsides and all those downsides are is it really causes issues with sex. Takes away sensitivity, orgasms get shorter and duller, you always need lube, you have to thrust harder and faster to get like any good feeling, you have to be stimulated through orgasm in order for that to feel good, it's hard to keep erect with condoms on, controling orgasms are much harder etc etc.

Parents are often under-educated in SexEd
and easily misled by doctors out to make a quick buck from
totally unnecessary procedures.

Benefits = nil (except to doctors bank account)

Drawbacks = loss of integrity of manhood
loss of deep penile nerve mechanism
loss of sensitivity
loss of control
loss of protection from viruses
loss of protection from fungi
removal of protective bacteria
removal of nerve endings
removal of ridged band to stimulate woman's clitoris.

There's quite few more but you can look these up for yourself
just put <circumstitions> into google.

It was based on information your parents had at a time.
Benefits are only if you had some medical condition which required this surgery.

Something about benefits and drawbacks (I don't go into that stuff) http://www.teen-questions.com/circumcise…

It is no real drama and you can live with it, cut or uncut. Just be sure you think twice when you have your own baby.

You need to direct this question to your parents to get their input as to why you were circumcised as a baby.
