Question: Recovery Time For Hydrocele Operation?
I Have My First Urology Appointment on the 28th feb i know this is a consultancy and my surgery could be speeded up due to me going in the army (already sped up consultancy) once I under go the operation how long will it take me to be able to start running and lifting weights again as I want to get back to selection for army. also how long does it take for the docter to declare your fit enough after surgery?

First there is the healing of the site of the incision which will take about 3 days. After that there is really nothing to be done. There will most likely be no pain except a slight bit at the sewn up area. An aspirin will take care of that. I believe you can start to get back into training within a week's time. Go slow at first not for any pain, but for common sense.
